An artist who has previously worked for Coca-Cola and Nike has created a mural to express our Solidarity with Ukraine.

Luke Embden, from Chipping Norton, previously created a piece from inside the former Beales department store in Chipping Norton, one on the window of his local library and one in George Street in Oxford.

Mr Embden, who is usually based in Berlin and London, said: "I was just back from mural painting in Amsterdam when I passed through my home town of Chipping Norton to catch up with family and friends.

"While out walking, I spotted this wall that was covered in tags and realised that this would be the perfect canvas to create a new mural for the town and give this wall some much need love and create a talking point amongst people.

Oxford Mail:

"I added a huge splash of colour with an underlying message of support and love to all affected by the war ongoing in Ukraine. The mural message is of love and solidarity for all affected by war."

Mr Embden was helped by his cousin's child Eve who was visiting from Australia and  nephew Burl who helped fill in the block colours.

He will be back to paint live at this year's Big Feastival in Kingham.
