A man from Oxfordshire is due to appear in Magistrates’ Court for speeding on a dual carriageway.

Twenty-eight-year-old Daniel Towner from Banbury was caught speeding in a BMW on the A43 from Towcester to Silverstone.

The speed camera recorded Daniel driving at 104 miles per hour (mph), where the legal limit is 70mph.

Daniel is due to appear in Northampton’s Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, June 14.

The UK police force use the Ultralyte 1000 speed recording device to monitor driving speeds across the UK.

The equipment is made by Laser Technology to provide police agencies with what they claim is the most durable and reliable speed enforcement tool on the market.
