HUGH BOYCE, 41, of Gillians Way, Oxford, pleaded guilty to using disorderly behaviour in Oxford on January 4 and assaulting a man by beating him. He was fined £325 and ordered to pay £100 in compensation. He must pay £119 in costs and surcharge.

LEE WINDEBANK, 31, of Worcester Drive, Didcot, admitted stealing items from Didcot Iceland. He was fined £80 and ordered to pay £10 in compensation. Separately, he was given a 16 week suspended sentence for driving a Mazda near Peartree Services while over the drug limit for cocaine and its metabolite benzoylecgonine. He was banned from driving for three years.

JACK HANDS, 20, of Lyneham Close, Carterton, admitted drug-driving a Ford Fiesta in Vendee Drive, Bicester, on January 12. He was over the limit for cannabis. He was fined £230, banned from driving for a year and must pay £119 in costs and surcharge.

TERRY HARRIS, 30, of Welford Gardens, Abingdon, pleaded guilty to driving a Toyota Aygo without a licence or insurance and while over the drink-driving limit. He had 64mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was banned from driving for a year-and-a-half, fined £280 and must pay £119 in costs and surcharge.

CHRISTOPHER MERTHA, 31, of Acacia Close, Carterton, stole food from Tesco in Faringdon and breached a criminal behaviour order banning him from going into the store. He must do 80 hours of unpaid work and up to 20 rehabilitation activity requirement days as part of a community order.

KIANA SILLS, 22, of Nightingale Lane, Wellingborough, pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer and using racially-aggravated threatening behaviour in Bicester on July 11 last year. The magistrates imposed 100 hours of unpaid work and ordered the defendant pay £200 in compensation and £190 in costs and surcharge.

WARWICK TOMPKINS, 34, of Hill Close, Chipping Norton, pleaded guilty to making a threatening phone call last May. He must do 80 hours of unpaid work, up to 10 rehabilitation activity requirement days and pay £180 in costs and surcharge.

LYNDON MUNDY, 22, of Murcott Road, Upper Arncott, admitted driving a silver VW Golf on the A41 without a licence or insurance on November 13 last year. He was fined £350, given six penalty points and ordered to pay £120 in costs and surcharge.

ROSS WESTGARTH, 28, of Sheering, near Bishop’s Stortford, pleaded guilty to driving a VW Golf on the A41 at Bicester on November 13 last year while over the limit for cannabis. He was fined £300, banned from driving for a year and must pay £119 in costs and surcharge.

DAVID BIGMORE, 46, of Thyme Close, Banbury, admitted possession of heroin in North Bar Streeton April 19. He was given a 12 month conditional discharge and must pay £62 in costs and surcharge.

STEVEN RUSHMER, 57, of North Way, Headington, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly and refusing to leave Sainsbury’s in Cowley Road when requested to do so on April 25. He was fined £50.

DEAN MCALLISTER, 26, of Arnold Way, Grove, admitted using violence to gain entry to a house in Barnett Road, Steventon, on April 30. He must do eight rehabilitation activity requirement days and pay £85 in costs.
