A teenaged girl who was last seen in her PE kit at school is missing.

Katie Empson, 13, was last seen at Didcot Girls’ School in Manor Crescent, Didcot at 2.30pm yesterday (Friday June 10).

Thames Valley Police is appealing for the public’s help to trace the missing girl. She is white, around 5ft 5ins tall, with mousey brown shoulder-length hair.

She is likely to be wearing a Didcot Girls’ School PE kit, which is a navy polo shirt and shorts, and potentially carrying a black backpack.

She is known to frequent the rural areas surrounding Didcot.

Inspector Tom Xavier said: “We are very concerned for Katie’s welfare and are appealing for the help of the public in finding her.”

Police urge people with information to call 101 quoting reference number 43220253631.
