An Oxford theatre has been nominated for a regional theatre award.
The New Theatre Oxford, located on George Street, has been nominated for Best Theatre/Arts Venue at the Muddy Stilettos Awards in the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire category.

Also nominated in the same category is the Aylesbury Waterside Theatre in Aylesbury, The Arches in Olney, Wycombe Swan in High Wycombe and Chipping Norton Theatre in Chipping Norton.
A spokesperson for the theatre said: “We’re absolutely delighted to announce that we’ve been nominated at Best Theatre/Arts Venue in the Muddy Stiletto’s Buckinghamshire/Oxfordshire for 2022.
“As you can imagine, the competition in this category is fierce this year and we need all the help we can get!”
