A man denied coercing his former partner or using her bank details to place bets online.
Gavin Bustin, 42, of Market End Way, Bicester, appeared before Oxford Crown Court on Tuesday afternoon to plead not guilty to allegations of coercive controlling behaviour, actual bodily harm and fraud by false representation.

Prosecutors claim he controlled his alleged victim between October 2020 and February 2021, assaulted her in February last year and fraudulently used her bank card details to place online bets between November 2020 and January 3, 2021.
Bustin, who denies the allegations, was granted conditional bail to return to court on May 8 next year for his trial.
The case is expected to last four days.
