A charity concert at a country house will help raise money for health and education programmes in Syria and neighbouring countries.
Ditchley House in Charlbury will host the concert which will feature the music of The Sacconi Quartet and Mark Padmore.
The Sacconi Quartet were formed in 2001 and are currently the Quartet in Association at the Royal College of Music and Quartet in Residence in Folkestone.

Mark Padmore has an international career in opera, concert and recital and was renowned for this performance as Evangelist in the St Matthew and St John Passions with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra.
During the event guests will have exclusive access to Ditchley Park and can tour the ground floor, which is not open to general public.
A spokesperson for Hands Up said: “With the world looking elsewhere, funding Syrians rely on to survive this unending conflict is in short supply. I recently visited the Syrian border and people there feel they have been forgotten despite their need being as great as ever."
