A stolen crochet snake which was made to make the community smile has been found by a seven year old girl.
The snake was created by anonymous yarnbomber Crochet Kindness by R and was installed at the junction of Worcester Drive and Sandringham Road in Didcot.
Crochet Kindness by R crafts large crochet pieces to install around the area and bring joy to locals.

The artist, who is based in Fleet Meadow, was informed on May 23 that the snake was missing from its spot.
Upon news of the theft, the yarnbomber told said they felt “sad” and it made them wonder ‘why do I bother doing this?’.
Speaking with the Oxford Mail, they explained they do not get a financial benefit from the artworks but instead do it to "make people smile".
The artist has a donation page in which funds go back into the materials that create the projects for the community, with an average piece costing around £40 to make.
A week on from the theft and the missing serpent was located.
Alexys Redford, aged seven, discovered the snake in a bush on Regent Gardens on Saturday (May 28) and her mum contacted the artist with the news.
As a thank you, and because Alexys took a liking to the crochet creature, the yarnbomber is going to create and post a replica snake to the family for them to keep.
