A man was given a suspended sentence for having indecent images of children.
The four category A images were found by police last year, Oxford Crown Court heard. Also on his phone were 11 category B images and 24 in category C.
David Whiting, 50, of Hailey Avenue, Chipping Norton, pleaded guilty at the magistrates’ court last month to possession of the indecent images.

On Thursday, Judge Michael Gledhill QC sentenced him to six months’ imprisonment but suspended the prison term for 18 months.
Whiting must complete rehabilitation activity requirement days and was ordered to comply with a seven-year sexual harm prevention order. He will be on the sex offenders’ register for seven years.
Mitigating, Dana Bilan said her client had suffered a number of bereavements in recent years and asked the judge to bear in mind the relatively small number of indecent images found by police.
