A man has appeared in court accused of holding cocaine, cannabis and almost £30,000 in cash.

Prosecutors claim Darryl Wild, 31, was caught in possession of the class A and B drugs in Andover on November 18, 2019.

He is also said to have had £28,685.22 in dirty cash in Didcot on the same date.

Appearing before Oxford Crown Court on Thursday afternoon, Wild, of Mortimer Common, near Reading, pleaded not guilty to possession with intent to supply controlled drugs and possession of criminal property.

Judge Michael Gledhill QC granted him unconditional bail to return to court for the trial from September 19.

The trial, which is expected to last three to four days, is in the ‘warned list’ – meaning it could be called on at any time during the two week period.
