A MAN in his Twenties was arrested earlier this month for drink-driving and being in possession of a knife and cannabis.

The 21-year-old, who is from Thames, was arrested in the evening of Friday, May 13 by Thames Neighbourhood Police Team.

He has since been released without charge in relation to being drunk and in charge of the vehicle but received a community resolution order for possession of cannabis.

A community resolution order is a quicker process than criminal conviction and allows the victim of a crime to have a say in the matter.

He was also cautioned for possession of a knife.

The arresting officer on Twitter said: “Are you worried about someone drink or/and drug driving?

“Let us know confidentially via Crimestoppers or call 101.”
