A MAN has been sentenced to 24 weeks in prison after he stole trainers and tanning spray from shops in Bicester.
Valentine Marin, 52 of no fixed abode appeared in Oxford Magistrate’s Court on January 31 this year.
Marin pleaded guilty to the theft of a pair of trainers from the NIKE store worth £37.95 and to stealing £92 worth of spray tan from Boots on January 28.

He was sent to prison for 12 weeks for each offence totalling 24 weeks. This sentence was implemented due to previous records of shop lifting.
Marin originally received a suspended sentence for stealing £1477.87 worth skincare products from Botts in Waterflields Retail Park in Watford on November 26, 2021.
West and Central Hertfordshire Magistrate’s Court handed Marin a suspended sentence of 12 weeks in prison suspended for 12 months.
