Thieves forced their way into a service station and stole cigarettes early this morning.

The burglary took place at Budgens store in the Frilford Service Station in Abingdon between 2.40am and 3.35am today (20/5). 

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Fiona Boyce said: “I would like to appeal to any witnesses or anyone with footage such as dash-cam or CCTV to please get in touch.

“You can contact the police by either making a report online or by calling 101 quoting reference number 43220218534.

“Alternatively, for 100% anonymity, you can also call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
