A MAN who damaged a BMW and council property has been sent to prison.
Christopher James Taylor, 34 of Oxford Road in Bodicote, Banbury appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on March 10 and pleaded guilty to criminal damage to property valued under £5000.
Magistrates heard that Taylor on July 26, 2021, damaged a BMW in Chipping Norton and also damaged property belonging to West Oxfordshire District Council.

These actions activated a suspended sentence order that was made in October 2020 after Taylor was caught at Cotswold Terrace in Chipping Norton with a machete.
The suspended sentence of imprisonment for 12 weeks suspended for 12 months was implemented as a sentence of six weeks.

The overall length of sentence is 16 weeks.
In addition, Taylor has been ordered to pay £300 by August 18, 2022.
