An arrest warrant was issued after the defendant failed to turn up for his trial.
Alfred Humphrey, 55, of Bullingdon Road, Oxford, had been due before Oxford Crown Court on Wednesday for the first day of his trial, which was expected to last two days.

Prosecutors claim he was responsible for beating to police officers on March 20, 2020. He denies two allegations of assaulting an emergency worker.
When Humphrey failed to appear at the crown court by midday, Judge Nigel Daly issued a warrant for his arrest not backed for bail, meaning that if he is arrested the police must keep him in the cells until he can be put before the court.
Kellie Enenver represented the absent defendant at the abortive hearing on Wednesday.
