POLICE have issued an update after forensics were spotted on Cowley Road last night. 

Two ambulances, one unmarked police car, another police car and crime scene investigators were spotted on the busy road at around 7.30pm last night. 

The incident caused some concern in the area with one eye-witness saying they had seen a stretcher being taken into St Mary and St John Church, opposite Manzil Way park.

Now Thames Valley Police has issued an update on the incident.

A spokesperon said: "Thames Valley Police responded to a report of a fear for welfare of a man in Cowley Road at around 7.55pm on Tuesday (17/5).

"South Central Ambulance Service were also called and treated the man at the scene.

"He did not need require hospital treatment."
