THUNDERSTORMS may cause some flooding and disruption tonight (15) as the Met Office issues a yellow warning for South East England.

A yellow warning means the weather is likely to have some impact such as travel disruption.

The Met Office has warned people to expect:

  • A small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded
  • A chance of delays and some cancellations to train and bus services
  • Spray and sudden flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures
  • A slight chance that power cuts could occur

The thunderstorms are moving north from the English Channel towards southern England. The yellow warning is in place from 8pm tonight lasting until 5am tomorrow (16).
