A man has been fined by an Oxford court for failing to comply with the requirements of his community order.

Dylan Sweeny, of Deer Walk in Greater Leys, appeared at Oxford Magistrates Court on May 5.

Sweeny failed to comply with an order made by Oxford Magistrates Court on November 5 2020.

He failed to comply by not attending an accredited programme on January 18 and 21 of this year and not giving a reasonable excuse for not attending within a set timeframe.

He was found guilty and the court fined the 23-year old £196 and he was made to pay costs of £175.

A community order is issued when a person is convicted of a crime but are not sent to prison.
