The arrests follow the death of Peter Crowley, 50, last month.

Mr Crowley was found dead in a flat in Brome Place, Barton, on April 24.

Detectives from Thames Valley Police's Major Crime Team believe he was assaulted the previous evening near the shops in Underhill Circus before returning home. The assault was not reported to police or ambulance service at the time.

Two people, a 17-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl, both from Oxford, were arrested on suspicion of murder last month but were later released on police bail.

In a statement released this afternoon, Thames Valley Police said detectives' enquiries continued.
