Oxford’s Labour MP has reacted to news that Sir Keir Starmer will resign, if police find he broke Covid-19 rules.
Labour party leader Sir Keir vowed on Monday to resign if police fine him over ‘Beergate’.
The politician faces allegations that he and his staff broke Covid rules by enjoying a curry and a beer indoors in Durham in April 2021.

Anneliese Dodds, MP for Oxford East, said: "It's so important that our politicians are clear, that the rules that apply to others, apply to them as well.
"Keir has shown here, very clearly, that he'll rightly hold himself to the highest standards, unlike Boris Johnson.
"Integrity matters - and both Keir and Angela Rayner showed what that word means, with their commitment made yesterday."
