A MAN from a village near Bicester has been fined hundreds of pounds after he was caught speeding in London.
Gareth Andrew Probert, 39 of Buchanan Road in Upper Arncott near Bicester appeared at South West London Magistrates’ Court on March 21.
He pleaded guilty after he was caught driving six miles per hour above the speed limit in a 40 mph on the A40 in Ealing.

The defendant’s guilty plea was taken into consideration when imposing a sentence.
Probert was handed three points on his driving licence, and he was fined £210.

In addition, he was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and ordered to pay costs of £90.
The defendant has been ordered to pay a total £334.
