Life saving defibrillators have been installed across the Grove Formula One headquarters and donated to a local garage.

Williams Racing is supporting the South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS) ‘Save a Life’ campaign, which aims to help save lives by providing members of the public with vital information on where to find local Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) and how to use them in an emergency.

Through the SCAS ‘Save a Life’ app, members of the public can check where the nearest AED is and access videos and instructions on cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Williams has seven AED machines at their factory in Grove and it has now donated an additional AED to the JET Garage on Station Road, just a few minutes from the Williams headquarters.

A training session hosted by Williams provided training to staff at Grove and from the JET garage, to ensure they are all fully equipped to operate the AED and can undertake CPR in an emergency.
