Thousands of people flocked to Carterton Recreation Ground for the return of the annual Carterton May Day Fair.
Back after a few years' break, there were stalls and attractions including a dog show run by K9 Playtime Academy, giant tortoises, vintage cars, motorbikes and tractors, craft marquee, a car boot sale, funfair rides plus lots of charity and commercial stalls.
The energetic ZumbAnita put on a Zumba display and there were performances by Brize Norton Military Wives Choir, RAF Voluntary Band and Ryan Clayton on the bandstand.
Prizes for the scarecrow trail were handed out by West Oxfordshire MP Robert Courts.
Isla from Carterton Primary School whose beautiful design was on the front cover of the show programme cut the ribbon to open the fete.
This event was organised by the Carterton and Witney branch of Save the Children Fund, with all profits from the event going to help vulnerable children all over the world, including in the UK.
Organisers said: "We are so thankful to each and every one of you for turning out to support our event and helping to make it such a success. We were amazed with the turnout and it was certainly one of the busiest ones in its 40 year history.
"The recreation ground certainly became a hive of activity and it was lovely to see the whole of Carterton and beyond come together for a wonderful community event."
