THREE drivers were caught speeding on Oxfordshire motorways. 

Each one of them were charged with driving over the 70mph limit, with two reaching speeds of over 90 mph.

All of them were fined and had their driving records endorsed.

Sam Alexander Hennessy-Priest, 22, of Knighton Road, Birmingham, was caught speeding on the M40 at Great Milton on September 4 last year. 

He was going 97 mph. 

Hennessy-Priest pleaded guilty and was fined £500 by Oxford Magistrates Court on March 15 this year and five points were struck off his driving record.

He must also pay £50 to fund victim services and court costs of £90, bringing the total to pay to £640. 

Ben John Kirby, 25, of Holbein Close, Loughborough, was caught going 92 mph on the M40 at Milton Common on October 18 last year. 

The Citroen driver pleaded guilty and was fined £207 at Oxford Magistrates Court on March 31 with four points struck off his driving record.

He also had to pay £34 to fund victim services and £90 in court costs bringing the total to pay to £331. 

Ahmad Jumaa, 26, of Upper Montagu Street, London, was fined £120 on April 8 after speeding on the M40 at Milton Common. 

The Audi driver was caught going 82 mph on the motorway on June 10 last year and pleaded guilty at Oxford Magistrates and was charged on April 8 this year. 

Jumaa must also pay £34 to fund victim services and £90 in court costs bringing the total to £244 to pay by July 7 this year.
