City of Oxford College will welcome jobseekers on campus for its retail careers employment event on Friday, May 20.
Visitors are welcome to book a one-hour slot between 10am to12pm to meet local employers and learn more about current vacancies in the retail industry.
Local employers attending include John Lewis, Sainsbury’s, Greggs, BP services and Westgate Oxford, among many others.

Susan Lawson, employer engagement specialist at City of Oxford College, said: “The Retail Careers Employment Event will shine a light on the myriad of roles and career paths available within the retail sector across Oxfordshire.
“It is an opportunity for people to meet local employers from food to fashion, all looking to fill a host of different positions and understand what it is like to work for them and how to apply for their roles.”

Visitors to the event are invited to book either the 10am or 11am slot.
The college headquarters is in Oxpens Road, while there is a sister technology campus in Blackbird Leys.
The college is run by Activate Learning.
The website says: “At Activate Learning, we work closely with employers so that we can make our curricula as engaging and as relevant as possible. We work with more than 2,000 businesses across the UK, from large multi-nationals to SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises.”
