MATTHEW MOODY, 30, of York Close, Bicester, pleaded guilty to stealing cargo trousers and a hoodie from the Nike shop in Bicester on January 5. He was fined £138 and ordered to pay £119 in costs and surcharge.

ESMAT HOTAK, 23, of no fixed address, admitted drug driving a VW Golf on the Northern Bypass on September 22 last year. He also admitted other drug driving offences relating to two incidents in August last year. He was ordered to do 80 hours of unpaid work and 24 rehabilitation activity requirement days as part of a community order and banned from driving for 21 months. He must pay £85 in prosecution costs.

BRIAN RAMSAY, 20, of Burwell Drive, Witney, was fined £80 for cannabis possession. He was ordered to pay £119 in costs and surcharge.

MARKO BRKOVIC, 38, of Keble Road, Bicester, pleaded guilty to possession of a weapon in Banbury designed for the discharge of pepper spray. He was fined £350, must pay a £35 surcharge and £85 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.

COSMIN MIHAI, 41, of Maidens Close, Watchfield, pleaded guilty to taking a Honda Civic without the owner’s consent in January, driving it without a licence or insurance and failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis at Abingdon police station. He was banned from driving for three years, ordered to take part in a six month alcohol rehabilitation programme and must pay £180 in costs and surcharge.

PIOTR WITUKIEWICZ, 43, of Luther Street, Oxford, was convicted of assaulting a paramedic and emergency first responder on February 20 in Oxford. He was ordered to pay £175 in compensation and must go without alcohol for 30 days.

JONATHON POWER, 65, of Orchard Walk, Watlington, was jailed for 26 weeks for stalking a female neighbour by constantly going to her home between December 16 last yea and March 5, ringing the doorbell and posting letters through her letterbox. He admitted stalking and seven counts of breaching a restraining order by ringing the woman’s doorbell and by posting notes, a Christmas card and a Valentine’s card through her letterbox.

ANDREI SOMODEAN, 32, of Woodford View, Clondalkin, Dublin, pleaded guilty to drug driving an Audi A4 on the B4100 in Baynards Green, Oxfordshire, on October 26 last year. He was over the limit for cannabis. The magistrates banned him from driving for a year, fined him £400 and ordered he pay £125 in costs and surcharge.

GREG WATKINS, 44, of no fixed address, was jailed for 24 weeks for assaulting an emergency worker. He attempted to bite her leg and spit at her. He was subject to a suspended sentence when the offences were committed in late March. He was ordered to pay £50 compensation.

ROBERT ZASADA, 31, of HMP Bullingdon, pleaded guilty to stealing dumbbells in Abingdon on August 12 last year. He also admitted two unrelated assaults and offences of criminal damage. Zasada, a serving prisoner, was given a nominal one week sentence and must pay £305 compensation.
