As the cost of living crisis deepens, rising fuel prices are putting a strain on people’s finances.
Prices of petrol and diesel are sky high, despite Chancellor Rishi Sunak using his spring statement to reduce fuel duty by 5p per litre, worth a saving of 6p per litre due to the impact on VAT.
Fuel retailers, however, have been accused of not passing on the duty cut in fuel to drivers.
