Oxford's ZEZ (Zero Emission Zone) was launched in the city four weeks ago.
At the moment the ZEZ only covers streets where cars are, mostly, banned.
If it gets approved, a much larger area will be covered by the ZEZ.
You will have to pay £10 a day to drive down these streets.
The aim of the ZEZ is to improve air quality, cut carbon emissions, and move towards zero emission travel in the city.
The council believes the ZEZ will:
- encourage people to switch to low and zero emission vehicles
- make other positive changes to their travel behaviour
