OXFORD has been labelled the second most sustainable city in the UK in a recent study.
According to eco-friendly clothing company Clothes2Order, Oxford also ranked fourth in terms of electric vehicle chargers per 100,000 people.
The city was pipped by university rivals Cambridge to top spot in being the UK’s most sustainable city.

According to the study, per 100,000 people, Oxford has 810 renewable electricity sites, 7.3 parks and four nature/ forest areas.
This gave the city a sustainability score of 7.35 out of 10. Cambridge scored 7.6.
In terms of electric vehicle chargers, Coventry topped the list with 127.8 chargers per 100,000 people, with Brighton and Hove coming in second (118), and Northampton in third (83.4).
