AT LEAST 3 people have been killed on Oxford's roads in one month. 

At around 8am on February 8, a cyclist, a woman in her 40s, died after a crash with a lorry outside Oxford Parkway Train Station. 

Around 100 people gathered in a circle and paid tribute her at a poignant vigil with a white 'ghost' bike, symbolising hers, placed at he scene with floral tributes. Read the latest here>>>

Three weeks on, on Monday evening, a man in his 70s was crossing the road at New Street in Chipping Norton when he was killed by a lorry. Read the latest here>>>

Yesterday, Oxford came to a standstill after a third horror crash in just so many weeks. 

This time, a woman in her 30s, was killed as she was riding her by by a lorry on The Plain roundabout. Read the latest here>>>

Now, transport bosses are demanding safer roads for cyclists. 

Tom Hayes, Oxford City Council's cabinet member for Green Transport said The Plain is a 'dangerous cycling spot'.

He said: "This is very sad news, my heart goes out to the lady’s loved ones and other cyclists who feel this loss deeply. The Plain is a dangerous cycling spot and the safety of the roundabout and the changes that may be needed will, I know, be looked at by [oxfordshire County Council]." 

Another councillor for Oxford, Charlie Hicks, said: "I feel sick. We must build safer infrastructure. We need #VisionZero and to make sure this never happens again."

Others have shared their own experiences of cycling in the area. 

John Perkin said he cyclists on the roundabout every day and has had 'several near misses'.
