POLICE officers have released CCTV after an assault in the fast food restaurant Wendy’s.

At about 4.05pm on January 15, the victim was approached by a group, who made offensive comments and threw a drink over the victim.

The victim then stood up and was subjected to an assault, Thames Valley Police (TVP) reported.

The victim required hospital treatment but has since been discharged.

Investigating officer, PC Alexander Benjamin, based at Cowley police station, said: “We are appealing to anybody who recognises the individuals in these images to please get in touch as we believe they may have information in connection with this assault.

“Alternatively, for 100 per cent anonymity, you can also call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
