The rightful owner of 39 rugs found when police raided a property near Wheatley has been urged to come forward.
The ‘Shiraz’ branded Persian-style rugs were discovered in a van last week.
Officers from Thames Valley Police’s rural crime taskforce raided a property near Wheatley on February 17 in connection with the alleged theft of a caravan and generator last December.
At the time, the police said a 60-year-old man and 56-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of theft. Around £25,000-worth of goods, including designer clothing, were seized.
Now, officers have taken to social media in an attempt to trace the owner of the 39 rugs.
Sgt Robert Maris said: “We are trying to locate the owner to find out if they have been stolen.”
