Oxfordshire’s recycling centres were all closed on Friday due to the poor weather caused by Storm Eunice.
All seven centres across the county were closed by the county council.

ALL Oxfordshire recycling centres are CLOSED due to strong, dangerous winds caused by Storm Eunice.
We hope they will reopen as normal tomorrow.

Alkerton household waste recycling centre
Stratford Road, Alkerton, Near Banbury, OX15 6HZ
This centre has reopened as normal and is open from 8am to 5pm everyday of the week.
Ardley Fields household waste recycling centre
Brackley Road, Ardley, OX27 7PH
This centre has reopened as normal and is open from 8am to 5pm everyday of the week.
Dix Pit household waste recycling centre
Linch Hill, Stanton Harcourt, OX29 5BB (Sat nav use OX29 5UX)
This centre has reopened as normal and is open from 8am to 5pm everyday of the week.
Drayton household waste recycling centre
Steventon Road, Drayton, Near Abingdon, OX14 4LA
This centre has reopened as normal and is open from 8am to 5pm everyday of the week.
Oakley Wood household waste recycling centre
Old Icknield Way, Crowmarsh, Near Wallingford, OX10 6PW
This centre has reopened as normal and is open from 8am to 5pm everyday of the week.
Redbridge household waste recycling centre
Old Abingdon Road, Oxford, OX1 4XG
Redbridge HWRC remains closed until further notice.
This is due to the risk of trees around the centre falling down in the wind.
Redbridge recycling centre will remain closed today (Sunday 20) + it’s expected to be closed tomorrow (Monday 21).

Apologies if this has caused an inconvenience. There are other trees surrounding the site which are also at risk of falling -these are being looked at in the week.
Images shared by the county council show trees which have been bent in the wind. One image also shows a tree which has caused damage to a metal cage at the site.
Stanford in the Vale household waste recycling centre
Faringdon Road, Stanford in the Vale, Faringdon, SN7 8LD
This centre has reopened as normal and is open from 8am to 5pm everyday of the week.
