Police are appealing for witnesses after a man caused distress to a man in South Oxfordshire.

The incident happened on Saturday in Mill Lane, Benson between 12pm and 1pm.

A man approached a property and caused distress to a man aged in his sixties.

The offender is described as a white man, roughly 6ft tall, well built, with white hair and a white or grey beard.

He was wearing a pair of blue jeans and possibly a blue checked shirt.

PC Ben Atkinson, based at Didcot police station, said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to please come forward.

“You can make a report by calling 101 or online quoting reference number 43220065898.

“Alternatively, if you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111 or via their website.”
