The Chicken Big Mac appeared on McDonald’s menus around the country to much fanfare and fans of the fast food chain in Oxfordshire have let us know what they think.
The Chicken Big Mac is, as the name would suggest, a chicken version of McDonald’s traditional Big Mac.
Coming out at 544 kcal, the fast food chain describes the burger as featuring “two deliciously crispy coated chicken patties made with 100 per cent chicken breast meat, a slice of cheese, lettuce, pickles and tasty Big Mac sauce”.
It is not the only new addition to the menu, as it is joined by the Double Big Mac, Chicken Legends, Galaxy Chocolate and Galaxy Salted Caramel McFlurry and Mozzarella Dippers.

Since then, our readers have let us know what they think of the new Chicken Big Mac.
Overall, McDonald’s fans in Oxfordshire seemed to be quite disappointed with the burger.
While a number did say they enjoyed it, far more were disappointed with it and some even wanted their money back.

PAUL COMBER: “Having tried the chicken Big Mac, I thought it would be better having mayonnaise instead of Big Mac sauce, I love a chicken sandwich, so having a double chicken sandwich makes more sense.”
ELLIS COOPER: “I had one earlier and completely agree. Just not as good as I was expecting it to be. 5/10.”

AMANDA PAMMENT: “It looks yucky compared with the normal Big Mac.”
JANE SMITH: “I enjoyed mine yesterday and for once it was piping hot.”
