A star of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK is set to perform a show at an Oxford venue.

Drag queen Scarlett Harlett will perform at The Jolly Farmers on Paradise Street in March.

The Jolly Farmers is Oxford’s, and one of the UK’s, oldest LGBT+ pubs.

Announcing the gig on social media, The Jolly Farmers wrote: “We are very PROUD to announce that straight from RuPaul's Drag Race UK, @scarlettharlett will be gracing our wicked (in every sense of the word) Paradise Stage on SUNDAY 20th March!!!!!”

Harlett, the stage name of 26-year old Harry Mulvany from East London, appeared on the third series of BBC Three’s RuPaul’s Drag Race UK where she came in came in fifth place.

RuPaul’s Drag Race UK is the UK version of the popular American drag competition show of the same name, which aims to find the next ‘Drag Superstar’.

This year’s show saw the youngest ever winner crowned when 19-year old Krystal Versace took the title.

Tickets for the performance will give audience members access to the garden, where the show will be, while the rest of the pub will function as normal.

The show will take place on March 20 at 7.30pm. Tickets for the events are on sale on Eventbrite and cost £15.
