A FOURTH arrest has been made in connection with an incident which left two teenagers seriously injured.

An 18-year-old man from Oxford was arrested on suspicion of two counts of attempted murder, and remains in police custody.

The arrest is in connection to an incident in Nightingale Avenue on Friday night when two men in their late teens were seriously injured. They both remain in hospital.

An 18-year-old man from Oxford was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, possession of a class B drug, possession with intent to supply a class B drug and possession of an offensive weapon.

A 17-year-old boy, also from Oxford, was arrested on suspicion of two counts of attempted murder.

Both were arrested on Saturday and have both been released on bail.

Detective Inspector James Mather, of Thames Valley Police, said: “We have made a fourth arrest as officers continue to investigate the incident that happened on January 21.
