Detectives investigating an 'attempted murder' which left two teenagers seriously injured in hospital have made two more arrests. 

Three people have now been arrested in connection with the late-night attack. 

The incident took place on Nightingale Avenue in Greater Leys on Friday night around 11.40pm. 

The two male victims, both in their late teens, were seriously injured in the attack and remain in hospital. 

Last night, police arrested an 18-year-old man from Oxford on suspicion of attempted murder, possession of a class B drug, possession with intent to supply a class B drug and possession of an offensive weapon.

He remains in police custody.

A 17-year-old boy from Oxford was also arrested on suspicion of two counts of attempted murder, he remains in police custody.

On Friday an 18-year old man from Reading was arrested on suspicion of causing GBH with intent and dangerous driving. 

He been released on bail.
