A police cordon is still in place on Nightingale Avenue following an attack which left two teenagers in hospital. 

Police were called to the road at around 11.40pm last night following reports of a disturbance. 

Two male victims were left seriously injured and were taken to hospital, where they remain.  

One man, aged 18, from Reading has been arrested on suspicion of causing GBH with intent and dangerous driving.

The police cordon is still in place on the street and covers part of Nightingale Avenue and Long Ground. 

Foresnic teams continue to work at the scene and specialist dog units are also working in the area.
