OVER 70 per cent of Oxford Mail readers think Boris Johnson should resign.
Following Prime Ministers Questions this week, the Oxford Mail created an online poll asking whether Mr Johnson should resign.
The survey of 3178 respondents revealed that a resounding 72 per cent thought he should resign.
Approximately 27 per cent of respondents said 'no' the PM should not resign, with 1 per cent said they were unsure.
Calls for Mr Johnson's resignation come after he admitted attending a drinks event in Number 10's garden - however, he insists he thought it was a 'work event'.
Unease has continued to grow across the Tory party over the week, with David Johnston, MP for Wantage, voicing his 'anger' over the party.
