A businesswoman who founded a fragrance and bodycare brand has been named one of the UK’s most inspirational and dynamic female entrepreneurs.

Michelle Leivars who founded Breedon Perfumery in Witney High Street in 2019 is being featured alongside 100 female entrepreneurs from across the country as part of the campaign to celebrate the achievements of women running businesses in the UK today.

Breedon Perfumery is a family-run business making affordable, quality bath and body care.

All the products are handmade in the workshop on the second floor of the shop, using luxurious, vegan-friendly, kind to skin ingredients.

Products include the Original Splendidly Soapy Perfume Inspired Witney Soap Sponge and exfoliating Witney Soap Sponge as well as bath bombs, roll-on oils, hair care and room fragrance.

The campaign is run by Small Business Britain and f:Entrepreneur was launched in 2017 to to showcase trailblazing female founders who lead businesses alongside a roster of other responsibilities, such as volunteering, mentoring and community support.

Many of the businesses also demonstrate a commitment to the environment by championing sustainability.

Ms Leivars founded the Yes SHE Can Project podcast, sharing women’s stories and creating a platform for women to discuss issues that affect them, regardless of where they are in their life or career.

She is also active in charity work with Beauty Banks which provides personal care and hygiene products to people in the UK living in hygiene poverty via registered charities like Foodbanks, refuges and homeless facilities.

And she is a trustee of The Luca Foundation, a charity that supports families following the loss of a child.
