A man accused of holding a woman against her will and threatening to kill her will stand trial in October.
Christopher Isichei, 49, is said to have falsely imprisoned the woman on April 25 and May 21 last year and made threats to kill her.
He is also charged with harassing her by sending threatening texts, turning up at her house and ‘kicking the front door’.
Appearing before Oxford Crown Court on Thursday morning, Isichei, of Celadine Place, Oxford, pleaded not guilty to false imprisonment, making threats to kill and harassment putting his alleged victim in fear of violence.
Judge Nigel Daly bailed him to return to the court on October 31 for his trial. The case is expected to last three days.
