A MAN has been arrested after an attack on Cornmarket Street.
At around 7pm on Saturday (January 15) a 51-year-old man was walking in Oxford city centre when he was appraoched by a stranger who started verbally abusing him.
He was then pushed several times in the chest and had his 'property' damaged.
Police officers have since arrested a 48-year-old man from Oxford in connection with the incident, on suspicion of criminal damage and assault. He has been released under investigation.
