An ‘eagle eyed’ CCTV operator spotted a driver taking drugs in a car park before driving off.

The police CCTV operator noticed the driver undertaking the act in Witney, with police sharing details of the incident on social media.

The vehicle was stopped by police and the driver tested positive for cannabis and cocaine.

A blood sample was also obtained from the driver.

If you are convicted of drug driving you get:

• a minimum 1 year driving ban

• an unlimited fine

• up to 6 months in prison

• a criminal record

Your driving licence will also show you’ve been convicted for drug driving.

This will last for 11 years.
