POLICE across the city have been tackling dangerous e-scooter drivers and cyclists.
Yesterday, Thames Valley Police dealt with eight incidences of dangerous driving on e-scooters on Oxford's High Street.
This included one serious injury collision, and ongoing inquiries being made into separate serious injury collisions.
On Sunday, the force's East Oxford Neighbourhood Team took part in an operation on Cowley Road.
This was to tackle those with publicly owned e-scooters as well as cyclists who had no lights on.
The police spoke to members of the public and handed out leaflets.
This is not the first time the police have stopped dangerous e-scooter drivers.
In October 2021, more than 100 e-scooter riders were stopped by Oxford police in a two-day operation across the city.
