DEBBIE FRITH, 42, of Botley Road, Oxford, admitted assaulting a man and damaging a knife block and DVD unit at a house in Lydia Close, Oxford, on October 26, 2020. She was given an 18 month community order with a drug rehabilitation requirement. A restraining order bans her from going to the property in Lydia Close until December 15, 2022. She must pay a £95 victim surcharge. Separately, Frith pleaded guilty to theft and fraud by false representation relating to the use of a stolen bank card.

GEORGE COLLETT, 33, of Field Close, Stonesfield, pleaded guilty to being in charge of a Russian Ofcharka dog called Freya when it was dangerously out of control and attacked a man in Pendle Court, Stonesfield, on June 30, 2020. He was fined £100, was ordered to pay £300 in compensation and must pay £119 in costs and surcharge.

A co-defendant, Julian Dore, 44, of Longore, Stonesfield, admitted the same charge and received the same punishment.

‘Freya’ was made subject to a contingent destruction order, meaning that she must be muzzled and on a lead at all times in public, be under the control of someone over-18 and have third party liability insurance. Unless all three conditions are met the dog must be destroyed, magistrates ruled.

ATIF MUTWALI, 21, of Long Ground, Oxford, admitted possession with intent to supply cannabis in Oxford on March 18, 2020. He was ordered to do 120 hours of unpaid work as part of a 12 month community order. He must pay £590 in costs and surcharge and the cannabis was forfeit and will be destroyed.

LYNDSEY COLE, 40, of Nash Road, Upper Heyford, admitted doing 76mph on the A41 at Bicester, a 40mph road. She was fined £300, banned from driving for 42 days and must pay £124 in costs and surcharge.

MATTHEW CURTIS, 42, of Coxwell Street, Faringdon, was fined £500 after he pleaded guilty to driving at 79mph on the Eastern bypass in Oxford - a 50mph zone. He was banned from driving for a year due to repeat offending and must pay £140 in costs and surcharge.

IULIUS SAVOAIA, 27, of Wolverton Gardens, London, was caught driving a 69-plate Audi A1 on the Eastern bypass, Oxford, at 90mph on March 20, 2021. The speed limit is 50mph. The magistrates found a charge of speeding proved. He was fined £660, banned from driving for 56 days and ordered to pay £156 in costs and surcharge.

DARREN GARNON, 36, of George Street, Banbury, was found guilty of assaulting a man in Oxford on February 27, 2021. He was conditionally discharged for a year and must pay £122 in costs and surcharge.

MATAS SALTIS, 31, of Hampton Court Road, Richmond upon Thames, was fined £69 after he pleaded guilty to driving at 98mph on the M40 near Great Milton. He was banned from the roads for six months due to repeat offending and ordered to pay £124 in costs and surcharge.

DAISY WOOD, 29, of Banbury Road, Oxford, pleaded guilty to stealing ‘sex related products’ from Superdrug on December 3 last year and assaulting a man on the same day. She was given a 12 month community order and banned from Templar Square shopping centre, Cowley, for six weeks. The magistrates ordered she pay £13.98 compensation to Superdrug and £40 compensation to the victim of the assault.

ASHLEY STEVENSON, 39, of Lawrence Way, Bicester, was found guilty of possession of a lock knife in Whitelands Way, Bicester, on March 19, 2020. He was given a 12 month community order with 80 hours of unpaid work and must pay £595 in costs and surcharge.

ROBERT STEELE, 24, of HMP Bullingdon, was jailed for 18 weeks for sending threatening phone messages between Christmas Day and December 28, 2020. He admitted breaching an earlier suspended sentence by committing the new offences. He was ordered to pay £50 compensation and must abide by a restraining order banning contact with his victim.

GERARD MPUNGI, 40, of Burchester Avenue, Headington, was found guilty of assaulting a man by beating him. He admitted a second battery charge. He was given a community order with a 12 month mental health treatment requirement. The magistrates also ordered he pay a total of £150 in compensation.

RICHARD WALKER, 45, of Marlston Hermitage, Thatcham, pleaded guilty to speeding on the A41 at Bicester. He was caught doing 75mph in the 40 zone. He was fined £660, given six points and must pay £156 in costs and surcharge.

JOHN CHAPMAN, 81, of Chilton, near Didcot, pleaded guilty to driving on Botley Road on an expired licence and without insurance. He was banned from driving for six months due to repeat offending, fined £120 and ordered to pay a £34 victim surcharge.

SIMEON DAWSON-WEIR, 21, of Lucas Avenue, Harrow, was fined £369 after he pleaded guilty to speeding on the M40 at Great Milton. He was behind the wheel of a BMW 1 series on March 12, 2021, when he was caught doing 105mph. He was banned from the roads for 16 days and must pay £127 in costs and surcharge.

RAJA KHAYAM, 20, of John Garne Way, Oxford, was found to have breached coronavirus regulations by taking part in a gathering of two or more people in Oxford Brookes University halls on John Garne Way on March 18 last year. He was fined £500 and ordered to pay £140 in costs and surcharge.

JACK ALLEN, 21, of Church End, Newton Longville, pleaded guilty to speeding on the A41 at Bicester. He was caught doing 71mph in the 40 zone. The magistrates fined him £120, imposed six penalty points and ordered he pay £79 in costs and surcharge.

MATTHEW COLE, 45, of Bonehill, Tamworth, admitted speeding on the M40 at Great Milton. He was caught driving at 99mph. He was fined £333, given six points and ordered to pay £124 in costs and surcharge.
