A lorry driver has appeared in court accused of leaving a man with serious injuries.
Philip Riches, 64, is said by prosecutors to have been driving a white MAN lorry dangerously on the A420 at Kingston Bagpuize on June 25 last year when he caused a James Ritchie serious injury.
Appearing before Oxford Crown Court on Thursday morning wearing a smart black suit and burgundy face mask, Riches, of Wordsworth Close, Royal Wootton Bassett, pleaded not guilty to a single count of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
Judge Maria Lamb bailed him for the trial, which will begin on September 26. The case is expected to take three days.
Nigel Ogborne appeared for the Crown Prosecution Service. Riches was represented by Emma Hornby.
