Two people were threatened at knife point in a robbery in Abingdon.

At 9pm on Friday, two victims were approached by a man who threatened them with a knife in Bath Street.

One of the victims ran away and was chased by the man for a short distance.

The man then went back to the second victim and threatened him again with the knife.

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward in connection with the robbery.

Investigating officer, PC Lee Butler, based at Wantage police station, said: “We are appealing for the two victims of this incident to please come forward as well as anyone who may have witnessed what happened.
