THE University of Oxford has revealed it has given out more than 3,600 undergraduate places for the next academic year.
This is an increase of 2.6 per cent on the previous year and means that 38 per cent of those interviewed secured offers.
It was the second year of online interviews due to the pandemic, with more than 20,000 interviews taking place in December.
The university reported that this year, more than 69 per cent of offers to UK applicants went to students educated in the state sector, up from 59.1 per cent in 2016.
Students will begin their courses in October.
