NICHOLAS CRANE, 49, of Maryland Grove, Canterbury, was fined £480 after he admitted doing 97mph on the M40 near Great Milton on May 12 last year. He was given six points and ordered to pay £138 in costs and surcharge.

ALIYAH FAROOQ, 29, of Northolt, Ealing, was found to have been speeding at 100mph on the M40 at Great Milton on May 12 last year. She was fined £440, given six points and must pay £134 in costs and surcharge.

ROBERT LACEY, 41, of Stoke Heath, Market Drayton, was fined £305 after he admitted speeding on the M40 at Great Milton. He was caught on May 12 last year driving at 97mph. The magistrates imposed six points and ordered he pay £124 in costs and surcharge.

KEVIN SMOKER, 60, of Pine Close, Bicester, admitted drink driving a Mazda 6 on Ploughley Road, Ambrosden, on March 3 last year. He had 71mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath – twice the legal limit of 35mcgs. He was fined £400, banned from the roads for 20 months and was ordered to pay £240 in costs and surcharge.

ADAM JONES, 33, of Luther Street, Oxford, was jailed for 26 weeks for a spree of shop thefts, stealing expensive perfumes from John Lewis in the Westgate shopping centre. He admitted breaching a 12 month conditional discharge imposed last March for threatening behaviour.

JAY SPINKS, 21, of Blake Road, Bicester, admitted possession of cannabis and cocaine in Lambeth and assaulting a police officer in the capital on Halloween 2020. He was ordered to do 80 hours of unpaid work as part of a 12 month community order and must pay £100 compensation to the police officer.

THOMAS PITMAN, 41, of Mill Lane, Marston, admitted drink driving a BMW 335 on his home street. Tests showed he had 41mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath on June 12 last year. He was spared a ban after magistrates heard he had only driven eight metres in order to move the car as it was blocking a neighbour’s driveway. He was fined £150, given four points and must pay £119 in costs and surcharge.

GURVINDER MANN, 42, of Clarks Row, Oxford, admitted beating another man in Oxford on October 24 last year. He was jailed for four weeks and ordered to pay £100 compensation to his victim.

JOSHUA BISHOP, 28, of Three Mile Cross, Reading, was fined £1252 and banned from the roads for 46 months after he pleaded guilty to failing to provide police with a breath specimen after being stopped in July 2021 in Oxford on suspicion of driving under the influence. He must pay £775 in costs and surcharge.

DANUT BUMBERICA, 36, of Elmhurst Close, Milton Keynes, was fined £450 for possession of cannabis in Banbury on October 23, 2020, and ordered to pay £295 in costs and surcharge. He was acquitted of charges of threatening behaviour and possession of a kitchen knife at Hello Fresh in Banbury.

NIKITA MORRIS, 43, of Wykham Place, Banbury, pleaded guilty to stealing a bank card in Oxford on March 3 and used it three times to buy items. She was fined £120, conditionally discharged for a year on the theft charge and was ordered to pay £85 in costs.

MOHAMED BOULAABI, 41, of Preedy Walk, Bloxham, was sentenced to eight weeks’ imprisonment suspended for two years after he was found guilty in his absence of failing to provide a specimen of blood for police, who arrested him on suspicion of driving under the influence. He admitted a similar offence, committed around 10 days after the first refusal to provide a specimen last April. He must pay £328 in costs and surcharge and was banned from driving for three years. Under the terms of his suspended sentence he must complete a drug rehabilitation programme and do up to 24 days’ worth of work with the probation service.

DIMITRU CORICIU, 35, of Glebeland Close, Birmingham, was found to have driven on London Road, Headington without insurance or a licence. He was given six penalty points and ordered to pay £660 in fines and £156 in costs and surcharge.

CHRISTOPHER HUNTER, 48, of Gladstone Road, Oxford, was fined £120 for doing 70mph on the A41 at Bicester. He admitted speeding on the 40mph limit road. The magistrates imposed six penalty points and ordered he pay £124 in costs and surcharge.

LEANDRO MORILLA, 38, of Old London Road, Chipping Norton, pleaded guilty to driving without a valid licence on the Botley Road, Oxford, in June last year. He was fined £166, given three points and must pay £124 in costs and surcharge.

ANDERSON WEINHOLD, 51, of Dodgson Road, Oxford, was fined £880 after he was found to have driven without a valid licence or insurance in The Slade on August 3 last year. He was given six points and ordered to pay £178 in costs and surcharge.

ANTONIO MENDES, 31, of Ridgefield Road, Oxford, admitted driving without a valid licence or insurance on Cowley Road on June 27, 2021. He was fined £276, given six points and ordered to pay £124 in costs and surcharge.

SIMON HOLLAND, 31, of Chadwick Place, Ambrosden, admitted speeding on the A41 at Bicester. He was caught doing 72mph on the 40mph limit road. The magistrates fined him £440, imposed six penalty points and ordered he pay £134 in costs and surcharge.

SEAN PARRY, 58, of Colne Close, Bicester, pleaded guilty to doing 77mph on the A41 at Bicester, a 40mph limit road. He was fined £440, given six points and ordered to pay £134 in costs and surcharge.

ANNETTE WALKER, 49, of Pinnocks Way, Botley, was fined £120 after she admitted speeding on the A41 at Bicester. She was caught driving at 74mph on March 30 last year. The magistrates imposed six points and ordered she pay £124 in costs and surcharge.

GORDON APPLEBY, 37, of Ashurst Way, Rose Hill, was given a 12 month community order with 100 hours of unpaid work after he was found guilty of assaulting a man in Oxford in November 2020. He was ordered to pay £200 compensation and £245 in costs and surcharge.

JACK BARRATT, 41, of New Road, Banbury, pleaded guilty to driving a Land Rover Freelander in South Hinksey while over the cannabis driving limit, without a valid licence or insurance. He was given a community order with 80 hours of unpaid work and up to 12 rehabilitation activity requirement days. He was banned from driving for a year and a half and must pay £180 in costs and surcharge.

FAISAL KHAN, 28, of Cresswell Close, Yarnton, admitted assault by beating and using disorderly words or behaviour. He was fined £250, ordered to pay £50 compensation and must pay £119 in costs and surcharge.
